Hello! My name in Nicole Comerford. I am a first grade teacher at Parshall Elementary. This is my first year in Parshall and I am very excited to be here!
I was born and raised in the motor city, Detroit, Michigan. Once I graduated from high school I attended Eastern Michigan University, home of the Eagles! I decided to move to Minot in 2011 and transferred to Minot State University. I graduated from Minot State University with my elementary degree and a concentration in reading.
Teaching is a dream come true for me and something I have always wanted to do since I was a little girl! When I'm not at school, I enjoy hanging out on my farm with my favorite little pups, Mya and Gunner. Living on a farm is new for me, coming from the city, but I am loving the peacefulness and all the wildlife. I recently got some chickens and am really loving the farm-life lifestyle.
This is going to be a wonderful year and I am so thankful to have each and every one of your kiddos in my class! I would love as much parent involvement as possible as I feel that is really helps the students learn and connects home and school.
If you ever need to get ahold of me you can email me, or call the school and leave a message with the secretary. I will call you back as soon as I am on my prep time or after school.
Once again, thank you for everything you do for your child! :)
