Hello and welcome to my website! My name is Crystal Grubb. I am a Title I Reading teacher at Parshall Elementary School.
I grew up in a small town in southeastern Minnesota. I attended Hayfield Public Schools from K-12. Here, my teachers instilled in me a great love of learning.
When I was young, I always knew I wanted to work with children. I knew that teaching would be the profession that would give me the opportunity to make the biggest impact on the lives of children. I attended St. Cloud State University and received my Elementary Education degree with a Middle School Science specialty area.
After graduating in 2007, I was offered a teaching position with New Town Public School District. In New Town, I taught first, third and fifth grade during the five years I was employed by the district. In 2012, a friend of mine was teaching in Parshall and informed me that they had a fourth grade teaching position open and strongly encouraged me to apply. I was chosen for the position and taught fourth grade for one year in Parshall before moving to my current position as Title I Reading teacher. I have both my Reading and Math Title I credentials but I mainly focus my time on helping my students become better readers and enjoy it thoroughly.
I'm looking forward to a great school year!
